BARNARD

  go to
Name: Barnard
Build: fully confirms with racial standard.

Weight: average, according to «Summary Table Of Parameters» approved by the Learned Council.

Age: fertile.

Character, Special Information and Features: despite the absence of objective prerequisites, he is obsessive about his health. This obsession causes him to engage in unusual activities such as using only water received from unfrozen crystals of ice brought from high mountains, knowing 60 ways of cleansing the body and covering himself to avoid overexposure to the sun. He is thorough and pedantic.

Barnard took part in 6 military campaigns, the last two as commanding officer of average-sized units. In combat he showed quick reactions and competent usage of spells. Actively participates in training young warriors.

Weaknesses and Faults: exceeding concerns about health noted in «Registry of Faults to be Eliminated».

Strength: from the Learned Council's memo: « ...when any creature under the influence of a special spell is killed (regardless of who kills it: an enemy hero, enemy creature or the master, to make a sacrifice), the hero's health index usually increases by the value of the killed creature's health.

Researchers have been surprised to learn that in certain cases the hero received much more additional health than specified in 'Collected Tables of Creatures' Basic Parameters'. The measurements taken show that in these cases the amount of health received by the hero amounted to the sum total of values for health and for attack of the killed creature (see «Collected Tables»). The causes of this specific ability are currently being researched by the Council's experts».
