Hard Truck: Apocalypse is definitely a game to look forward to. It's not the same old thing over again, though it is slightly reminiscent of Carmageddon. It's a lot of fun to drive and blow everything and upgrade your truck to an unbeatable powerhouse.

Hard Truck: Apocalypse Preview

While Hard Truck: Apocalypse certainly has the buying and trading elements that you've come to expect with the RPG genre, I found myself at my computer around 3am calculating how much sleep I could get by on the next day if I put only another hour or so into the current mission that I was in the middle of. 

Hard Truck Apocolypse: Gear Up for the Armageddon

The exciting aspect about Hard Truck Apocalypse is that it may be as freeform as games like Morrowind and Sea Dogs. There is a main linear storyline, but hopefully, if the developers are clever enough, you will be able to branch out on your own, or even neglect this story altogether. Though it is all speculation at this point, the game looks very promising, and even at this early stage, the graphics are on par and the control is tight. This is definitely a title that merits an eye being kept on it.

Most remarkable about the driving action is the game's physics engine which supplies incredible realism in driving and a real sense of speed and movement. Incredible special effects and realistic damage models assist the general blowing-uppery and turning sleek bastions of power into twisted, steaming hulks of useless steel. It?s sure to satiate nearly anyone's vehicular blood lust.

Hard Truck Apocalypse is a vehicular action-RPG from Targem Games and Buka Entertainment. Although it might be a somewhat odd name, looking past that will reveal a very deep and fun to play game. I recently got my hands on a demo version of HTA, and despite a few flaws this could be a sleeper hit.

"Buka Entertainment and Targem Games did nearly everything perfect with this title: the cool setting that is not overused by other games in our time, a story that keeps you motivated, the easy-to-learn controls, gigantic levels, the numerous possibilities to trade, to drive and to fight, the easy but challenging weapon- and upgrade-system and smooth techniques. The only thing missing at this title is a multiplayer-mode".

Aleksey Tchetsnikh: The action takes place in a not-so-distant future, when the remains of the human race are recovering after a major catastrophe. The main character is a young man, who gets involved in a series of tragic events, which urge him to seek revenge. Little does he know of where his quest will lead him...
