ART CONTEST “ARTISTS OF MIGHT AND MAGIC” RULES

  go to
1. You have to conceive and create a Heroes of Might and Magic V poster. Concept, subject and composition of the poster art are fully up to you: you can picture a battle, a warrior or even a peaceful encampment. The only requirement you must meet is that the main idea of your poster should be compatible with the general concept of the Heroes of Might and Magic series, while the graphic style should follow the one of its fifth generation game - Heroes of Might and Magic V. The maximum number of objects on the poster should match the game prototypes, examples of which can be found on the official site of the game: http://www.mightandmagic.com/teaser/uk/.
All ideas, questions, art drafts and other contest-related topics are welcome to discussion on Nival Forum

2. The artwork can be in any graphical format.

3. The contest begins on October 12, 2005 and ends on November 20, 2005. Artwork will be accepted up to midnight on November 20, 2005 and should be submitted by sending to contest@nival.com with prior studying of Terms and Conditions of Art Contest Submissions. The contest results will be announced on December 1, 2005 on the Nival Interactive web-site (www.nival.com).

4. The three best submissions, in the sole discretion of our judges will be awarded:
  • First prize - USD $2000
  • Second prize - USD $1500
  • Third prize - USD $1000
The next best 10 submissions will be awarded USD $100 each. An open-vote held on the Nival Interactive forum will determine the winner of a special viewer's choice prize, a Sony PSP gaming console.
